Withby — an AI companion for the road
Withby rides along. As you drive, it tells you what you are passing: the exit coming up, the lake on your right, the neighbourhood you are cutting through, the history of the bridge you are about to cross. You can ask it questions out loud and it answers without you touching anything.
The hard part of a product like this is not talking — it is knowing when not to. Withby is built around what is actually near you and what is worth mentioning at 60 miles an hour, so a long empty stretch stays quiet and an interesting one does not.
StockMap — forecasts that grade themselves
StockMap makes a two-week directional call on each stock it covers: will it out- or under-perform a market benchmark, and by roughly how much. Every call is then graded once the window closes, and the result is published — hits and misses together, with no window-shopping for a flattering date range.
It also declines to call. Most stocks, most of the time, do not clear the conviction bar, and StockMap says so rather than manufacturing an opinion. When it does have a view, the page shows the reasoning, the stock's own history of past calls, and how often that history has been right.

Lexitrail — Chinese vocabulary that sticks
Lexitrail is a spaced-repetition trainer for Mandarin. It tracks how well you know each word and surfaces it again at the moment you are most likely to be about to forget it — which is the point at which a review is worth the most. Coverage runs across HSK levels and beyond.
It is designed for five minutes a day rather than an hour on Sunday, because the schedule is what makes spaced repetition work.
FamilyLore — read the handwriting nobody can read
Most families have a box of paper somebody can no longer read: letters in old cursive, a diary in another language, a certificate in a script that has fallen out of use. FamilyLore takes a photograph of a page and gives back a transcription, a translation, and context for what you are looking at.
It handles the awkward cases that matter most — faded ink, mixed languages, archaic handwriting — because those are exactly the documents that have gone unread for decades.
